We will examine the obstacles closer and explore potential solutions to combatting the obstacles and navigating to our desired destinations.  Our guest Tiffany McKenzie will share her experience and the sacrifice made along the way.

Tiffany McKenzie

Tiffany N. McKenzie is a partner in the Atlanta office of the international law firm, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP.  Tiffany McKenzie focuses her practice in estate planning and administration, family wealth transfer tax planning, succession planning and fiduciary litigation. Tiffany is also co-owner of Vibe Ride. Vibe Ride is a locally-owned black business that specialized in curating fitness classes for a range of clients. Vibe Ride uses a rhythm and technology-based cycling method developed by its founders, and the dynamic environment in the cycling classes led to the inclusion of other cardio and strength training classes such as circuit training, barre, yoga, pound and TRX in the Vibe Ride concept. The first Vibe Ride franchise opened in February 2018 in Grant Park, with a Detroit location slated for a spring 2019 opening. Spinach launched in the Midtown location of Vibe Ride in the summer of 2018 to provide Vibe Ride members, and the greater community, with all natural smoothies, acai bowls, toasts, and other healthy snacks.

In fall 2018, Vibe Ride co-founder Tiffany McKenzie spearheaded the opening of Perspire Sauna Studio in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia, bringing to the region the only infrared sauna studio. Perspire is Atlanta’s first studio dedicated exclusively to infrared saunas, which studies show can help with weight loss, detoxification, stress relief, and a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including arthritis, acne, hypertension, metal poisoning, lyme disease, and joint pain. The saunas will also come equipped with Chromotherapy technology. Chromotherapy is a method of treatment that uses the visible spectrum (colors) of electromagnetic light to cure diseases. It is a centuries-old concept used successfully over the years to cure various diseases and ailments. Perspires’ sauna rooms all include cable TV, Pandora and Netflix so clients can keep their minds busy while their bodies are sweating, though many clients use the quiet time to mediate or stretch.
